The contents of the box includes items such as a 10-person tent, blankets, pans, utensils and a stove that burns anything from diesel to old paint, and other supplies according to the local conditions, or what is most urgently needed by the survivors. The first shipment consisted of 143 boxes sent to earthquake victims in the Indian state of Gujarat in January 2001. Nearly 2,600 boxes were dispatched for 16 major disasters within the next 3 years. In 2005, ShelterBox sent out more than 22,000 boxes, a scale that was unimaginable just six months earlier. In June 2009, Mr. Henderson was awarded the Trelawny Plate in recognition of his contribution to Cornwall. During the six months ended June 30, 2012, the Company had $1,738,703 in revenues compared to $1,600,638 for the six months ended June, 2011.During the quarter ended June 30, 2012, net operating gain totaled $1,156,521 compared to net operating gain for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 of $1,600,638.
