ELEVENTH SEASON OF ASK THIS OLD HOUSE® RESTORES AND REPAIRS HOMES ACROSS THE NATION

NEW SEASON INCLUDES EXPERT HOUSECALLS IN MIAMI, DENVER, NEW YORK AND CHICAGO

CONCORD, Mass (Sharewellnewswire.com) September 19, 2012  - Ask This Old House® returns for its 11th season of expert contractors solving everyday home improvement problems. Traveling from coast to coast, the show’s experts offer practical tips and instruction to help homeowners with all sorts of projects around the home. The eleventh season of Ask This Old House, featuring 26 brand-new episodes, premieres nationally on PBS October 4, 2012 (check www.thisoldhouse.com/tvschedule or your local listings).

This season, the crew will make housecalls in Miami, FL, Denver, CO, Colorado Springs, CO, Cheyenne, WY, New York, NY, Morris Plains, NJ, and Chicago, IL. In addition to these cities, host Kevin O’Connor, general contractor Tom Silva, landscape contractor Roger Cook, and plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey continue to tackle home improvement problems close to the show’s home base near Boston.  Kevin, Tom, Roger, and Richard once again attempt to figure out "What Is It?" during the fan-favorite segment in which the guys try to stump each other with strange-looking tools. From planting palm trees in Miami to a special “What Is It?” segment in the middle of Times Square, the season will showcase a variety of challenging projects and fun segments.

“For more than a decade our contractors have helped homeowners solve problems, big and small,” says senior series producer Chris Wolfe. “This season, we’re back at it, featuring many new tools and techniques we’ve never shown before.”
